Medication Assistant

We are seeking a per-diem Medication Aide Level 1 (MO) to join our team at Crossroads Correctional Center located in Cameron, Missouri.
Responsibilities:- Administer medications as prescribed under the direction of the facility Director of Nursing/nursing designee.
- Document medication effectiveness and any noted adverse actions or side effects.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Current active Level 1 Medical Aide certification from the Department of Health and Senior Services (DHSS) or the Department of Mental Health (DMH).
- Insulin certification required.
- Must complete required continuing education to maintain certification.
- Must maintain current tuberculosis documentation and active CPR/AED certification.
- Must be able to pass a background investigation and obtain agency security clearance where applicable.
