MUSEUM ASSOCIATES seeks a highly skilled Conservation Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our conservation department, you will be responsible for the preservation and restoration of paintings in our collection.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough condition assessments of paintings to identify areas requiring conservation treatment.
  • Develop and implement effective conservation treatments and procedures to stabilize and preserve artworks.
  • Use advanced conservation techniques, including cleaning, repairing, and re-framing, as needed.
  • Document conservation treatments and create detailed reports on the condition and treatment of artworks.
  • Manage conservation projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely and budget-friendly delivery.
