Job Summary:
The J. Paul Getty Museum is seeking a skilled professional to serve as an Associate Registrar in the Registrar's department located at the Getty Villa. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the budgeting, loan processing, recordkeeping, shipping and courier arrangements for assigned exhibitions and collection-related projects.

Main Responsibilities:
- Plan and coordinate exhibitions, including attending planning meetings, reviewing contracts, and providing budget estimates.
- Coordinate loans to the collections, prepare loan agreements, and communicate with lenders and curators.
- Make shipping and courier arrangements, research transport options, and negotiate with agents and carriers.
- Process purchase orders and invoices, track shipment costs, and prepare quarterly reports.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in art history or a related field.
- 3-5 years of registration or publications experience, or related experience in collections documentation, handling, or movement.
