Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Bar Supervisor to join our team at Climate Pledge Arena. As a Bar Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our bar, ensuring that our guests receive exceptional service, and maintaining a high level of productivity among our staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Bar Operations: Assist with bar set-up and closing procedures, ensure that all company policies are followed, and observe, evaluate, and document job performances of associates.
  • Leadership: Recommend personnel actions, ensure associates meet appearance standards, and follow all uniform guidelines.
  • Inventory Management: Order and maintain product inventory, complete daily sales reports and reconciliation, and assist with end-of-month inventory and financial reporting.
  • Guest Service: Assist bartending associates in serving guests as business levels demand.
Requirements
  • Must be at least 21 years old.
  • Able to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays, as needed.
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in a supervisory position required.
  • Previous experience in bartending required.
  • Knowledge in bartending techniques, recipes, sanitation, and safety issues.
  • Basic math skills; ability to accurately account for cash and inventory.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Physical Requirements
  • Frequent walking, throughout the entire facility, for the entire length of shift.
  • Constant standing, bending, reaching, and repetitive motions.
  • Able to perform normal lifting of stock up to 50 pounds.
  • Bar environment - noise level may be moderate to high during busy times.
  • May be exposed to variable temperatures, including extreme hot and cold, depending on the season.
