Position Summary: The Automotive Parts Specialist plays a crucial role in delivering exceptional service to our customers at Perry Motors Inc. This position involves creating a welcoming atmosphere for clients and ensuring their needs are met efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide outstanding customer service by greeting and assisting every customer in a friendly manner.
- Handle incoming calls and engage with customers at the counter, offering accurate information and pricing professionally.
- Stay informed about product details, promotional offers, and advertising to assist customers effectively.
- Support both customers and technicians with their parts requests, ensuring accuracy and timely communication with the Parts Manager for daily orders.
- Verify the accuracy of daily parts stock orders and manage the inventory of special order parts.
- Accurately prepare orders for delivery to customers, ensuring efficiency in the process.
- Manage invoicing and sales transactions, including payment processing and obtaining necessary signatures.
- Perform additional tasks as required to support the team.
Qualifications:
- Knowledge of the automotive industry, particularly in parts and service.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Strong commitment to customer satisfaction and service excellence.
- Proficient in processing information and merchandise through computer systems.
- Effective communication skills with both customers and colleagues.
- Capable of accurately reading, counting, and writing to complete documentation.
