Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Infant Educator to join our team at Cadence Education. This role is ideal for individuals who have a genuine love for nurturing young children and possess prior experience in childcare or early childhood education.

Location: Fairfax, Virginia

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with fellow educators to create a supportive and engaging learning atmosphere.
  • Document and communicate significant milestones in each child's development to parents.
  • Implement a developmentally appropriate curriculum that aligns with children's interests.
  • Facilitate safe play and learning experiences, intervening when necessary to ensure children's well-being.
  • Encourage positive social interactions and model appropriate behavior.
  • Assist in planning a balanced daily schedule that includes a variety of activities.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Compliance with all state requirements for preschool educators.
  • Flexibility and willingness to work within designated hours.
  • Prior experience in a licensed daycare or as a teacher assistant is preferred.
