Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Program Analyst I/II to join our team at the City of Santa Cruz. As a Program Analyst, you will play a critical role in planning, coordinating, and administering programs that support City services, initiatives, and operational activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, implement, and administer programs to support City services and initiatives.
  • Conduct research and analysis to inform program development and implementation.
  • Prepare reports, grants, and other materials to support program activities.
  • Provide public outreach and education to stakeholders and the community.
  • Collaborate with City staff, vendors, and other stakeholders to achieve program goals.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in public administration, business administration, or a related field.
  • Two years of professional program planning, coordination, development, implementation, and administration experience.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in a municipal government program setting.
  • Knowledge of program-related quality control and assessment principles.
  • Ability to learn and apply new skills and technologies.
