Key Responsibilities:
Under the guidance of the Cluster Manager, the Employment Program Manager I is responsible for planning, organizing, directing, and assessing the activities of the Workforce Services (WS) Program and its special initiatives. Key duties include:

  • Monitoring productivity and providing timely feedback to staff and management.
  • Planning and scheduling work assignments, training, and staff development.
  • Evaluating employee performance and implementing corrective actions as necessary.
  • Collaborating with management to establish goals and working closely with community partners.

This position offers a Geographic Pay differential of $250 per month for designated areas.

About the Workforce Services Branch:
The WSB is dedicated to connecting individuals with a wide array of employment and training services in collaboration with state and local agencies. Our mission is to enhance the lives of individuals through effective workforce development.

Working Conditions:
This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship. Applicants must be authorized to work in the US without requiring visa sponsorship by the employment start date. Occasional overnight travel for training or meetings may be necessary, along with travel between offices.
