Position Overview

Role Summary: This role entails conducting comprehensive evaluations of sleep disorders through various testing methodologies, including EEG assessments and CPAP device management. The primary objective is to support the Medical Director and supervisory staff in delivering exceptional patient care.

Minimum Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Registered Polysomnographic Technologist certification
  • Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association
  • Prior experience with EEG procedures

Key Responsibilities:

  • Setup and manage CPAP machines, ensuring patient compliance and comfort
  • Educate patients on CPAP mask fitting and adherence to therapy
  • Collaborate with the Sleep Center Medical Director and Supervisor to enhance patient service quality
  • Assist in the preparation of patients requiring CPAP prior to surgical procedures
  • Demonstrate proficiency in scoring and interpreting polysomnographic data
  • Conduct EEG tests for both adult and pediatric patients

  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to analyze problems creatively and make informed decisions
  • Flexibility to work various shifts as needed
  • Maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion in sensitive situations
  • Proficient in computer applications, including MS Office and EMR systems
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and prioritization skills
  • Strong emotional intelligence and teamwork capabilities

Work Schedule: 3 x 12-hour night shifts per week, organized in grouped shifts.
