Your Role in Action

As an APC, you will be at the forefront of our mission, providing essential support to individuals with autism and developmental disabilities to help them achieve their goals and dreams. Key Responsibilities
  • Extend a helping hand to individuals with developmental disabilities, assisting with personal hygiene, meal prep, medication, and transportation.
  • Cultivate a warm, safe space where independence, dignity, and respect thrive, empowering every individual.
  • Harness the power of positive behavior and support methods to tackle challenges and foster skill growth.
  • Join forces with a diverse team of therapists, caregivers, and healthcare professionals, crafting collaborative solutions for holistic care.

Requirements

To be successful as an APC, you will need:

  • A bachelor's degree or 3 years of experience in human services.
  • A valid driver's license with a minimum of 2 years' driving experience.
  • Prior supervisory experience in human services.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and understanding toward individuals from all walks of life.
  • Dependability, compassion, and patience, with a willingness to adapt to diverse needs and preferences.
