Responsibilities:
  • Efficiently load and unload freight.
  • Receive and thoroughly inspect incoming materials or products.
  • Conduct dimensional or electrical assessments of incoming materials as needed.
  • Transport freight to designated locations.
  • Utilize computer systems for inventory management.
  • Establish and uphold processes and guidelines for receiving operations.
  • Assist with inventory cycle counts when required.
  • Provide training to new team members.
  • Operate forklift or pallet jack as necessary.
  • Engage in initiatives aimed at production enhancement.

Qualifications:
  • Capability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods, up to 12 hours.
  • Ability to bend and reach as required.
  • Capacity to lift, carry, and push/pull weights up to 25lbs.

Preferred:
  • High school diploma or equivalent educational background.
  • Prior experience in shipping and receiving is essential, or a comparable combination of education and experience.
  • Proficiency in operating forklift, pallet mover, and hoist equipment.
  • Familiarity with ground and air carriers, LTL, and international shipping protocols.
  • Strong record-keeping abilities.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Competence in computer usage.
  • A collaborative team player who is self-driven and capable of working independently.
  • Effective communication skills with team members and leadership.

Compensation:
The salary range for this position is $18.00-$21.39, with actual pay determined by various factors including skills, experience, and qualifications for the role.
