Midtown Athletic Club is seeking a highly skilled and certified Aquatic Safety Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our aquatics team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of our members and guests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Enforce Safety Protocols: Explain and enforce rules, regulations, and policies to ensure the safety of patrons in our swimming areas.
- Maintain Order: Maintain order in swimming areas and respond to emergencies and rescues as needed.
- Cleanliness and Maintenance: Maintain the cleanliness of our aquatics areas to promote an enjoyable experience for our members and guests.
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service and interact with members and guests in a professional and courteous manner.
Requirements:
- Certifications: Possess nationally recognized certifications in aquatics, including Lifeguarding, CPR/AED, and First Aid.
- Communication Skills: Possess strong communication skills and be able to provide multisensory instruction to members and guests.
- Teamwork: Demonstrate a strong commitment to teamwork and be able to work effectively with other staff members to ensure the success of our aquatics program.
