Job Overview

As a Food Safety Specialist at Steritech, you will play a critical role in ensuring our hotel, restaurant, and grocery clients meet brand standards, maintain food quality, and provide exceptional customer service. Your expertise will help us protect people, enhance lives, and preserve the planet.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments to measure conformity to regulatory, industry, and proprietary brand standards
  • Observe food preparation and cooking standards to ensure food safety, health, and sanitation practices
  • Partner with clients to address root causes of assessment discrepancies and develop corrective action plans
  • Teach and coach clients on creating a safer and healthier environment for themselves and their customers

Requirements:

  • Meet the requirements to obtain CP-FS certification within 1 year of hire
  • Available to work Monday-Friday and Saturdays and evenings as needed
  • Desire to travel up to 50% of the time via car and/or plane
  • Ability to lift 32 lbs chest high, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and reaching
  • Ability and desire to influence others with tact and skill, as well as provide clear and constructive feedback in a positive manner
