Construction Safety Specialist

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Safety Specialist to join our team at Gregory Construction. As a key member of our safety team, you will be responsible for ensuring a safe working environment for our employees and subcontractors.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
- Develop and implement safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with project managers and superintendents to identify and address safety concerns.
- Provide training and guidance to employees on safety protocols and procedures.
- Investigate incidents and near-miss events to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience in construction or a related field.
- OSHA 30 Construction certification required.
- CPR and First Aid certifications required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
