Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Imaging Supervisor to join our team at Baylor St. Luke's Medical Center. As a key member of our radiology department, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our imaging modalities, ensuring efficient workflow, and providing exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of imaging staff, ensuring adequate coverage and minimizing delays.
  • Provide orientation, instruction, and assistance to new employees and students.
  • Enforce safety standards, including radiation protection, and complete incident reports as necessary.
  • Participate in quality control monitoring, implementation of best practices, and policy enforcement.
  • Assist with accreditation renewals, regulatory processes, and state inspections.
  • Recommend personnel actions, including hiring, discharge, and changes in job responsibilities.
  • Work collaboratively with the imaging manager to promote fiscal responsibility and maintain records and statistical reports.
Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in a related field and one year of experience in radiology, or three years of experience in a related field, or a Master's degree and no experience.
  • Registration by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) and certification by the State of Texas.
  • BLS certification.
