About the Job:

As a Traffic Control Agent with Southeast Airport Services, Inc., you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient flow of air traffic at Charlotte International Airport. Your responsibilities will include directing traffic, enforcing parking regulations, and providing exceptional customer service to the public and visitors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Direct traffic flow in front of terminal buildings, concourses, and other airport areas.
  • Respond to public requests for service and provide guidance in a professional manner.
  • Identify and report criminal activities, and analyze customer situations to make decisions on airport rules.
  • Ensure public compliance with parking ordinances and assist in traffic control at accidents and special events.
  • Maintain a focus on safety throughout all job functions and communicate effectively with difficult people under high-stress situations.
Requirements:
  • Valid Security License (Guard Card).
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Valid, state-issued driver's license with acceptable driving history.
  • One year previous customer service experience.
Working Environment & Physical Demands:
  • Work outdoors in all weather conditions and environments with exposure to dust, dirt, and loud noises.
  • Handle security issues or emergency situations appropriately and participate in industry-specific security/safety training programs.
  • Meet and continue to meet any applicable state, county, and municipal licensing and permit requirements for Aviation Traffic Control Officers.
