Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Traffic Control Flagger. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety of our workers and the general public by setting up, maintaining, and removing temporary work zones.

Responsibilities:

  • Set up and remove temporary work zones, including warning signs, traffic cones, and rumble strips, in accordance with ATSSA and DOT regulations.
  • Load and unload work zone equipment from the company vehicle.
  • Drive the company vehicle to and from job sites in a safe manner.
  • Complete all paperwork in a timely manner.
  • Wear and maintain proper personal protective equipment (PPE) in accordance with Wright's safety policy.
  • Read and comprehend Wright's safety manual and employee handbook.
  • Report directly to a Field Supervisor.
  • Perform other job duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
  • Reliable communication to receive work schedules.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work in all weather conditions and tolerate varying climates.
  • Pass a drug screen prior to employment and maintain a drug-free status.
  • Ability to stand throughout the shift and perform hand and arm movements.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds.
  • Physical ability to perform all flagging duties.
