About the OpportunityAs a Behavior Specialist, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of children and young adults with autism.
You will work one-on-one with clients, teaching them life skills and reducing challenging behaviors through the implementation of Applied Behavior Analysis principles.
This is a part-time opportunity with a flexible schedule, offering a competitive hourly rate and opportunities for growth and development.
Responsibilities- Implement individualized programs for children and young adults based on behavioral analysis principles that increase communication, self-help, social, and play skills.
- Manage inappropriate behaviors through the implementation of Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) and support from your clinical team.
- Capture thorough notes using a tablet/mobile device to manage the child's progress.
- Facilitate interactions with peers, coworkers, and families.
- Keep the children motivated to learn through positive reinforcement and fun play-based therapy.
We are seeking a self-motivated, hands-on individual who is passionate about making a difference in the lives of others.
Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, flexible availability, and a minimum of 25 hours per week.
Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license are also required.
