Physician Assistant or Acute Care Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner

UPMC Community Medicine Incorporated is seeking a full-time Physician Assistant or Acute Care Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner to join our team at UPMC Passavant - McCandless. This is a fast-paced pulmonary practice where you will have the opportunity to work with a dynamic team and make a meaningful impact on patient care.
Responsibilities- Provide patient care activities for a group of patients and their families through the application of independent judgment, communication, and collaboration with all team members.
- Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with physicians, other healthcare providers, patients, and their families to achieve desired patient outcomes throughout the continuum of care.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of patient care plans that meet the unique needs of each patient.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
- Graduate of a physician assistant program accredited by the Accreditation Review Commission on Education for the physician assistant (ARC-PA) or a nurse practitioner program.
- Current state PA license certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) or CRNP certification.
- Current CPR certification.
- Act 34 Clearance.
