Job Description:
The University of Minnesota is seeking an Administrative Prevention Coordinator to support the development, implementation, and evaluation of comprehensive prevention programs and strategies. This role will work collaboratively with the growing team at the Sexual Misconduct Prevention Program (SMPP) to administer prevention programs and strategies. As a key member of the SMPP team, you will report directly to the Director of the program.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan, coordinate, and administer online trainings, including communications, tracking of completion rates, and compliance management.
  • Coordinate, support, and occasionally facilitate systemwide and individual campus prevention meetings, as well as other key stakeholder committees and workgroups.
  • Represent SMPP in collaborative spaces, such as tabling events, or on cross-departmental and cross-campus task forces or committees as needed or appropriate.
  • Engage in research and documentation related to program development, evaluation, and facilitation.
  • Support the organization and management of community-specific student prevention programs, including reserving space, ordering food and other supplies, updating materials, documenting processes, and other administrative responsibilities as needed related to engaging students in these programs.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or any combination of education and relevant experience totaling four years, including one year of administrative experience, preferably in higher education.
  • Commitment to engaging in sexual misconduct prevention and office administration with an anti-oppression approach.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven ability to organize and create efficiencies in office environments.
  • Proven ability to manage projects and deliver results in a timely manner.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, and in partnership with diverse communities.
  • Demonstrated commitment to the principles of equity, inclusion, and diversity.
  • Demonstrated experience in, and an ongoing commitment to, working effectively with and across diverse communities.
