About the Job:
We are seeking an experienced Administrative Prevention Coordinator to join our team at the University of Minnesota. The successful candidate will play a critical role in supporting the development, implementation, and evaluation of comprehensive prevention programs and strategies. This position will involve working collaboratively with the SMPP team to administer prevention programs and strategies, representing the program in various collaborative spaces. As a key member of the team, you will engage in research and documentation related to program development, evaluation, and facilitation, while supporting the organization and management of community-specific student prevention programs.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement comprehensive prevention programs and strategies.
  • Coordinate and support systemwide and individual campus prevention meetings.
  • Represent SMPP in collaborative spaces, promoting the program's mission and values.
  • Engage in research and documentation related to program development, evaluation, and facilitation.
  • Support the organization and management of community-specific student prevention programs.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or any combination of education and relevant experience totaling four years, including one year of administrative experience, preferably in higher education.
  • Commitment to engaging in sexual misconduct prevention and office administration with an anti-oppression approach.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven ability to organize and create efficiencies in office environments.
  • Proven ability to manage projects and deliver results in a timely manner.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, and in partnership with diverse communities.
  • Demonstrated commitment to the principles of equity, inclusion, and diversity.
  • Demonstrated experience in, and an ongoing commitment to, working effectively with and across diverse communities.
