Job Description

Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Trade Compliance Specialist to support our business unit functions in the areas of imports and exports. This is a self-contributor role that requires relocation assistance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the local Business Unit for trade compliance
  • Full responsibility to support, guide, and audit all Compliance Trade Issues within multiple business units
  • Assist with preparing ITAR licenses (DSP's, TAA, MLA's) to be filed
  • Work with Customs/Brokers on paperwork and regulations
  • Audit records, work with Customers, and assist with Denied Party Screening
  • Strong communication skills (Verbal & Written) and Microsoft Office skills - especially Excel
  • Assist with procedures and training manuals

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree highly preferred or equivalent experience
  • Experience with both imports and exports
  • Hands-on ITAR licensing a plus, at a minimum must fully understand export licensing requirements
  • Comfortable training and working with Customers/Sales groups
  • Experience with Gov't and State agencies - CBP, BIS, OFAC
  • Extensive experience in Microsoft applications - especially Excel
