Senior Advertising Sales Specialist

The Senior Advertising Sales Specialist is a key member of our team, responsible for cultivating relationships with clients to sell advertising space in all available media channels. This role requires utilizing market research to develop promotional materials and delivering sales presentations to potential advertisers. In conjunction with management, the Senior Advertising Sales Specialist will be responsible for setting and achieving sales goals of print and digital advertising space.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify and cultivate relationships with clients to sell advertising space in all available media channels.
  • Utilize market research to develop promotional materials and deliver sales presentations to potential advertisers.
  • Set and achieve sales goals of print and digital advertising space in conjunction with management.
  • Monitor outside advertising market and search for new sales opportunities.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with current clients and secure future advertising sales.
Requirements:
  • BA/BS in Business, Marketing, Advertising, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • A minimum of three/five years prior advertising sales or directly related work experience.
  • Prior sales experience required.
  • Advanced knowledge of advertising agencies and a current client base preferred.
  • Advanced knowledge of magazine advertising, digital advertising, marketing, and communications techniques.
  • Moderate ability to gather, analyze, and organize information into presentation.
  • Moderate knowledge of PC software applications (Outlook, Word, Excel).
  • Moderate analytical and mathematical ability needed.
  • Knowledge of CRM tools.
