Role Overview:

This position is based out of our office in Los Angeles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Actively nurture and enhance relationships with current advertising partners, including both agencies and Fortune 500 clients, to drive consistent revenue growth for Reddit.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive business plans in collaboration with key client accounts.
  • Establish and cultivate beneficial relationships with prospective clients, educating them about Reddit and its advertising solutions.
  • Utilize existing agency and direct client relationships to identify new opportunities for Reddit's advertising offerings.
  • Analyze data from various sources to inform client strategies and develop compelling proposals.
  • Ensure timely completion of all projects, engage actively in team discussions, and contribute to special initiatives.
  • Lead client meetings from preparation to final presentation, assigning roles and setting clear expectations.
  • Serve as the primary liaison for clients, communicating significant platform updates and opportunities to enhance partnerships.
  • Provide strategic insights and consultative support to clients to elevate and expand relationships.
  • Collaborate with Reddit's media planning and ad operations teams to achieve and surpass clients' marketing objectives.
  • Influence the development of Reddit's native advertising product roadmap by gathering and sharing client feedback and campaign performance metrics.
  • Represent Reddit as a thought leader at industry events and conferences.
  • Mentor and guide fellow team members.

Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of experience in digital media sales.
  • Proven track record of managing relationships with C-level executives.
  • Extensive industry knowledge in specific sectors, product categories, and measurement solutions.
  • Strong commitment to a Reddit-first approach.
  • Established relationships within the agency and direct client landscape.
  • Expertise in social media and native advertising.
  • Demonstrated success in achieving sales targets.
  • Ability to lead and manage special projects effectively.
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent professional experience.
