As a key member of our Event Operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth execution of events at our luxury hotel. Your primary focus will be on supervising and assisting Housepersons with setup and breakdown, ensuring compliance with event specifications and exceeding Accor standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and assist Housepersons with setup and breakdown, including dusting, polishing, and vacuuming.
- Coordinate with Encore and outside A/V teams on setup schedules and timelines.
- Organize event storage rooms, remove and dispose of meeting room trash, and transport client equipment.
- Greet clients and guests, respond to inquiries, and provide exceptional service.
Requirements:
- Previous Event Houseperson experience with a minimum of one year in a Supervisor role at a luxury hotel.
- Ability to lift, carry, and transport heavy equipment.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with a friendly and positive attitude.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handle multiple groups/events simultaneously, and communicate with clients and guests in a professional manner.
Working Conditions:
- Continuous standing and walking throughout shift.
- Continuous bending, carrying, lifting, and twisting.
Employment Type: Full-time
