At Helios HR, we are seeking a seasoned Human Resources Management Consultant to join our team. This is a dynamic role that requires exceptional expertise in human resources management and operations.

About the Role

This role will be primarily focused on delivering high-quality services to our clients. As a Human Resources Management Consultant, you will support a combination of monthly retained engagements and project-based engagements. Additionally, you may serve as an additional resource reporting to a leader and/or serve as a department of one.

The Human Resources Management Consultant manages human resource operations for client organizations and/or implements human resource programs and their associated processes. This role uses discretion when making routine decisions and work execution.

Responsibilities
  • You will build trust-based relationships with clients, giving them confidence in seeking guidance on sensitive matters.
  • You will show initiative and proactively act on compliance updates and strategic matters, ensuring alignment with client culture and business priorities.
  • You will identify and deliver messages that may be difficult for clients to hear but would benefit them and their business. You may seek guidance to determine the best approach to delivering such messages to clients.
  • You will work collaboratively and consistently demonstrate consensus-building skills.
  • You will participate in the preparation of and leading the delivery of formal client presentations.
  • You will initiate difficult conversations with peers and clients, providing timely and direct feedback to solve problems and improve working relationships.
  • You will inform engagement leads of complex employee relations issues and situations and propose solutions.
  • You will develop and execute project plans according to defined scope of work.
  • You will set client priorities with limited support and guidance from practice leaders or more senior consultants assigned to engagements.
  • You will alert engagement leads of potential scope creep and identify possible solutions.
  • You will participate in business development discussions with new and existing clients.
  • You will identify potential opportunities for cross-selling with existing clients and initiate discussions about solutions.
  • You will contribute to the development of technical proposals in areas of specialty.
Qualifications
  • A minimum of 7-10 years' experience in human resources.
  • A bachelor's degree and/or professional certification is required.
  • Broad and advanced generalist skills in most tactical and operational components of human resources, with the ability to apply knowledge to complex situations, establish processes, and implement best practices.
  • Demonstrated strong written and verbal communication skills, clearly, concisely, and confidently with all levels of employees and management at Helios HR and clients.
Estimated Salary: $80,000 - $120,000 per year
