Procurement Specialist

Welcome to the Procurement Specialist - Supply Chain Management role at Booz Allen Hamilton, where you will play a crucial part in driving our company's growth and success. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for managing the entire procurement lifecycle, from identification to mitigation of supply-based risks.
With a strong foundation in procurement and supply chain processes, you will leverage your knowledge to create and issue requests for proposals, evaluate supplier proposals, conduct price analyses, and negotiate contracts. Your excellent organizational skills will enable you to manage multiple tasks concurrently and prioritize projects to ensure timely completion. Your effective communication skills will facilitate collaboration with cross-functional teams, including Legal, Contracts, Pricing, Risk Management, Finance, and others.

As a Procurement Specialist - Supply Chain Management, you will be a critical member of a cross-functional integrated team, supporting Health & Human Services clients and performing essential procurement responsibilities. Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the entire procurement lifecycle, including identification, management, escalation, and mitigation of supply-based risks.
- Create and issue requests for proposals, evaluate supplier proposals, conduct price analyses, and negotiate contracts.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Legal, Contracts, Pricing, Risk Management, Finance, and others.
- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and Booz Allen policies.
- Support the completion of critical procurement tasks, including subcontract administration, modifications, and task orders.
Requirements:
- Experience with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, or Outlook.
- Knowledge of procurement and supply chain processes, including teaming agreements, subcontract types, regulatory and corporate policy compliance requirements, and supplier risk.
- Ability to support Booz Allen's formal proposal process while managing multiple tasks concurrently.
- HS diploma or GED.
