Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Proposal Manager to join our team at The Swift Group. As a Proposal Manager, you will be responsible for delivering innovative and compliant proposals that meet the needs of our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor procurement portals and ensure task order distribution to internal channels.
  • Engage with internal stakeholders and industry partners to identify and shape potential opportunities.
  • Collaborate with the Capture Manager on win themes, shred draft RFP's, and create proposal outlines.
  • Manage final production activities, including print and electronic versions.
  • Create and adhere to the proposal schedule to meet RFP deadlines.
  • Provide clear direction to members of the proposal team.
  • Document, refine, and adjust the proposal process to optimize existing tools.
  • Assist in training and mentorship for internal proposal team members.

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of relevant experience in the government contracting space.
  • Ability to manage, write, and coordinate proposals of high complexity.
  • Experience leading proposal team members and key stakeholders.
  • Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience using SharePoint and MS Teams in collaborative proposal development efforts.
  • Certified Project Management Professional (PMP).
  • Certified Association for Proposal Management Professional (APMP).
