Job Overview:

As an owner-operator van truckload team driver with Schneider, you'll have the opportunity to build a successful business by hauling dry van trailers with 90% drop-and-hook freight at no charge. You'll work under Schneider's authority, leveraging our vast network and resources to grow your business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate as an independent business owner, responsible for your own truck and equipment.
  • Haul dry van trailers with 90% drop-and-hook freight, minimizing detention time and increasing productivity.
  • Work with Schneider's private load board, one of the largest freight pools in the industry, to select loads that fit your business needs.
  • Take advantage of Schneider's Purchase Power Program, which offers discounts on fuel, tires, maintenance, and more.
  • Utilize Schneider's mobile app to easily select and manage your freight, streamlining your business operations.
  • Enjoy access to a Samsung tablet for use inside and outside your cab, as well as free trailer usage.

Requirements:

  • Both you and your business partner must possess a valid Class A Commercial Driver's License.
  • Meet the following tractor requirements:
    • Truck(s) must be 2011 or newer.
    • Truck(s) need to pass a DOT inspection.
    • Engine(s) must meet EPA10 emissions requirements.
    • Truck(s) need a functioning Collision Mitigation System.
  • Additional qualifications apply.
