Job Description: Regional CDL Class A Delivery Driver

We are seeking a dependable and experienced CDL Class A Truck Driver to join our team. This is an evening position that requires a driver from Sunday evening to Thursday/Friday. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving record, and a positive attitude.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough pre- and post-trip inspections of the vehicle, including trailer inspections when applicable.
  • Safely operate a 53ft reefer/dry van to transport goods between Connecticut, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, and Maine.
  • Shuttle loads between our terminals in Hartford, CT, and Methuen, MA.
  • Maintain accurate records of hours of service using company ELD (Electronic Logging Device).
  • Process and maintain dispatch documentation and manifests with accuracy and attention to detail.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum 3 years of incident-free commercial driving experience.
  • Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
  • Registration with the FMCSA Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse.
  • Ability to comply with all company policies, rules, and procedures.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Successful completion of pre-employment drug screening and random drug and/or alcohol testing.
  • Authorization to work in the United States.

Compensation and Schedule:

This is a 1099 independent contractor position. The pay rate is $1,000 to $1, depending on the number of days worked.

The schedule involves a mix of drop & hook and live loading operations from Sunday through Thursday/Friday night.
