Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Tax Manager to join our team at GPAC. As a Tax Manager, you will play a critical role in overseeing and managing our clients' tax matters, providing expert tax advice, and ensuring compliance with tax regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review and manage tax returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance with current tax laws.
  • Provide strategic tax planning and consulting to clients, utilizing your expertise in financial operations and compliance.
  • Oversee and mentor a team of tax professionals, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration.
  • Research and interpret complex tax regulations, staying up-to-date with changes in tax laws and regulations.
  • Establish and maintain strong client relationships, built on trust, expertise, and exceptional service.
  • Assist in resolving tax-related issues and disputes, leveraging your knowledge of financial operations and compliance.
  • Collaborate with other departments to provide comprehensive financial solutions, driving business growth and success.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification is required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in tax preparation and review, with a strong background in financial operations and compliance.
  • Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws, with the ability to apply this knowledge in a fast-paced business environment.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and strategically.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and lead a team of tax professionals, with a strong focus on collaboration and results.
