Position:
Mobile Risk Evaluation Specialist

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:
As a Mobile Risk Evaluation Specialist, you will:
  • Assist in the management of risk and insurance sectors, focusing on property assessments and risk control systems.
  • Engage in investigations of accidents and injuries, preparing necessary materials and evidence for hearings and insurance inquiries.
  • Conduct on-site evaluations following significant incidents and offer recommendations for risk mitigation.
  • Design, prepare, and deliver workshops aimed at raising awareness on pertinent loss control topics, managing all logistical aspects.
  • Represent the organization in community safety initiatives and committees.
  • Perform on-site inspections, assess risks, develop safety profiles, and formulate effective safety strategies.
  • Conduct property appraisals for local entities to ensure accurate value reporting for insurance coverage.
  • Create and update manuals, guidelines, policies, and internal procedures related to loss control.
  • Review contracts and agreements with a focus on risk management and loss control aspects.
  • Maintain organized files and records, along with other assigned duties.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Safety or a related discipline, or a minimum of five years of relevant experience in loss control.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interpret complex documents and respond to sensitive inquiries.

• Proficient in mathematical calculations, with a solid understanding of basic algebra and geometry.

• Excellent analytical skills to identify problems, gather data, and draw logical conclusions.

• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

• Willingness to travel extensively, particularly within the region, with a valid driver's license.

• Familiarity with local government operations and finance is preferred.

• Experience with public entity self-insurance pools, risk management, and claims management is advantageous.

• Cross-cultural experience and strong computer skills are beneficial.

• References confirming satisfactory performance in similar roles are required.
