We are seeking a highly skilled Risk Management Director to join our team at Tangram. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and administering Risk Management and Loss Prevention plans for key industry segments in which we operate.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and Implement Risk Management Plans: Design and implement comprehensive Risk Management plans to mitigate potential losses and ensure business continuity.
- Manage Vendor Network: Identify, build, and manage a network of Loss Prevention and Claims Management service providers to support our Risk Management initiatives.
- Compliance and Audits: Assist in authoring compliance audits and supplemental applications, and aid in the creation and administration of program-specific Risk Management platforms.
- Insurance Partnerships: Coordinate service plans with our insurance carrier partners and vendors to ensure seamless delivery of Risk Management services.
- Industry Expertise: Provide industry-specific expertise and knowledge to inform underwriting decisions and identify potential risks.
- Risk Assessment and Mitigation: Review key industry segments and identify best practices to determine the most efficient and cost-effective Risk Management plans.
- Vendor Management: Develop uniform service standards for vendors and identify and develop a vetting process for compliance audits, environmental claims management, and industry-specific trainings.
- Platform Development: Identify program-specific risk management material that can be provided electronically and develop a platform for smaller, less complex risks.
- Claims Management: Serve as a liaison for the management of industry-related claims and work with carriers to ensure loss control service offerings are best-in-class.
- 10+ Years of Insurance Industry Experience: Proven experience in risk management, risk engineering, or loss prevention roles.
- College Degree or Equivalent: Bachelor's degree or acceptable combination of education and experience.
- Industry Knowledge: Understanding of DOT, OSHA, and Propane & Fuel Industry standards.
- Analytical and Communication Skills: Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills and excellent written communication skills.
- Time Management and Initiative: Ability to stay organized, prioritize, and manage time effectively, with personal initiative to work independently.
- Technical Skills: Solid internet, Excel, and Word skills.
The salary range for this position is $120,000 to $150,000, depending on geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This role may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program. Tangram offers a comprehensive benefits package, which can be found on our website.
