Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced HVAC Project Manager to oversee our residential heating and cooling projects. This role is crucial in ensuring the successful execution of installation projects while maintaining strong relationships with clients and team members.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and validate approved project proposals, ensuring all information is accurate before submission to the accounting department.
  • Prepare comprehensive job packets for new installation projects and coordinate necessary engineering documentation.
  • Manage relationships with major retail partners and ensure smooth collaboration throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Conduct thorough reviews of job information and facilitate necessary approvals.
  • Communicate effectively with the sales team regarding any project-related issues.
  • Compile warranty documentation and finalize project packets upon completion.
  • Schedule and manage the residential team's workload efficiently.
  • Regularly check in with project teams to monitor progress and address any challenges.
  • Order necessary equipment and materials for project execution.
  • Coordinate crane scheduling and rental services as required for specific projects.
  • Work closely with crew leaders on approved project tasks.
  • Engage with homeowners or property managers to coordinate work schedules, address concerns, and provide updates to the sales team.
  • Document any project-related issues and collaborate with HR to ensure accountability among field and office staff.
  • Supervise, mentor, and develop both field personnel and office support teams.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in project management, coordination, or dispatching is preferred.
  • At least 10 years of experience in residential HVAC is required.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 suite.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently.
  • Strong organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Effective time management skills to meet project deadlines.
  • Familiarity with modern communication technologies, including Apple devices.
  • Physical capability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs. with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Willingness to work in an environment that requires prolonged sitting and standing.
  • Compliance with pre-employment drug testing, background checks, and DMV checks as per applicable laws.
