Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated HVAC Project Manager to oversee our residential installation projects. This role involves ensuring the accuracy of project proposals and coordinating with various teams to deliver exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and validate approved project proposals, ensuring all information is accurate before submission to the accounting department.
  • Prepare comprehensive job packets for new installation projects and manage the coordination of engineering documents as necessary.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with major retail partners, ensuring smooth project execution.
  • Conduct thorough reviews of job information and facilitate the necessary approvals.
  • Communicate effectively with the sales team regarding any project-related issues.
  • Compile warranty documentation and finalize project packets upon completion.
  • Schedule and manage the residential team’s workload effectively.
  • Regularly check in with project teams to monitor progress and address any concerns.
  • Order necessary equipment and materials for project execution.
  • Coordinate crane scheduling and equipment rentals as required for specific projects.
  • Collaborate with crew leaders on approved project tasks.
  • Engage with homeowners or property managers to ensure seamless coordination of work schedules and address any concerns, while keeping the sales team informed of updates.
  • Document any project-related issues and work closely with HR to ensure accountability among field and office staff.
  • Supervise, mentor, and develop both field personnel and office support teams.

Qualifications:

  • 3 to 5 years of experience in project management, coordination, or dispatching is advantageous.
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in residential HVAC is required.
  • Must be a team player with a collaborative mindset.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 is essential.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently.
  • Strong organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Effective time management skills to meet project deadlines.
  • Ability to utilize modern communication technologies, including Apple devices.
  • Physical capability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs. with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Willingness to work in a dynamic environment that requires both sitting and standing for extended periods.
  • Compliance with pre-employment drug testing, background checks, and DMV checks as per applicable laws.
