Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Safety Specialist to join our team at Rite-Hite. The successful candidate will be responsible for establishing and maintaining a safe and healthy work environment, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, and promoting a culture of safety and environmental responsibility.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct regular site inspections to identify potential hazards and develop corrective action plans to mitigate risks.
  • Develop and implement safety policies and procedures, including training programs and emergency response plans.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
  • Investigate accidents and incidents, and develop recommendations to prevent future occurrences.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records of safety data, including OSHA logs and incident reports.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as occupational health and safety, environmental science, or a related field.
  • At least one year of experience in a safety-related role, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
  • Knowledge of OSHA regulations and industry best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
