Fabrication Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Fabrication Specialist to join our team at StageRight - Rogers Group in Clare, MI. As a Fabrication Specialist, you will be responsible for fabricating products by performing various operating functions on drill presses, vertical mills, belt sanders, and other equipment.

• Position parts according to work orders, routing, prints, and product knowledge.
• Perform drilling, sanding, punching, and cutting operations.
• Record labor and downtime, documenting all information related to each work order and routing.
• Ensure parts meet or exceed quality standards.
• Follow company safety rules to maintain a clean, accident-free, and healthy work environment.
• Collaborate with the team or crew leaders on safety, quality, production, and inventory issues.

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Basic math skills.
• Ability to read a tape measure.

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.

• Frequent use of hands with tool operation.
• Agility of upper and lower body extremities with ability to reach, crouch, kneel, or stoop.
• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Capable of lifting 50 pounds regularly and up to 75 pounds occasionally.
