Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Floor Tech to join our team at Healthcare Services Group. As a Floor Tech, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of our facilities, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for our residents and staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain the cleanliness and sanitation of hard surfaces and carpeted areas, including dusting, wet mopping, stripping, waxing, buffing, shampooing, extraction, and bonneting.
  • Collect and dispose of trash, recycling, and soiled linen in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Utilize protective gear and follow safety protocols to prevent injury and ensure a safe working environment.
  • Report equipment and cleaning product needs and malfunctions to supervisor in a timely fashion.
  • Ensure established standards, safety, and quality guidelines are met at all times.
Requirements
  • Demonstrate a positive attitude and ability to follow oral and written instructions.
  • Perform routine, repetitive tasks daily with minimal supervision.
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Ability to lift/carry a maximum of 50 pounds, push/pull a maximum of 50 pounds, stand, sit, bend, and walk for extended periods.
  • Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies, as required by state, local, and/or customers.
