Position Overview:
The Manufacturing Team Lead role is crucial for overseeing the safety and efficiency of all personnel within their designated production unit.

This position is also responsible for guaranteeing that production targets are met in a secure and timely manner while adhering to all quality standards.


Key Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent.

  • Ability to operate with minimal supervision and manage multiple tasks.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish.
  • Previous leadership experience.

Available Shifts:
  • Monday to Thursday, 5:00 AM - 3:30 PM, with potential for early arrival or late departure.

Compensation and Benefits:
  • Hourly wage of $16.00.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Provide focused supervision for the assigned production team.
  • Ensure the safety and productivity of the production unit.
  • Enforce all safety and operational protocols.
  • Communicate effectively with the team to ensure clarity on daily production objectives and challenges.
  • Continuously educate and train team members to meet production goals.
  • Facilitate effective communication between management and production staff.
  • Onboard new employees and mentor existing team members.
  • Achieve comprehensive training across all production processes within the department.
  • Balance quality, productivity, cost, safety, and morale to achieve optimal results.
  • Identify and resolve production bottlenecks and issues.
  • Document daily production metrics, waste, maintenance, safety incidents, and employee concerns, reporting to management.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and positive work environment.
  • Ensure open communication with the Manufacturing Production Supervisor, Manager, and Safety Manager.
  • Supervise product manufacturing while implementing and monitoring good manufacturing practices, quality, and safety standards.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the Department Supervisor or Manager.

While performing the duties of this position, employees may encounter fumes, airborne particles, moving mechanical parts, and vibrations. The noise level in the work environment can range from moderate to high.

This role requires standing for extended periods, using hands to handle objects or tools, reaching with arms, balancing, and stooping. Employees must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds multiple times throughout the day and may be exposed to varying weather conditions.

  • Identify and report health and safety risks, accidents, incidents, injuries, and property damage.
