Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Pre Construction Coordinator to join our team at Kimbel Mechanical Systems, Inc. This role is responsible for facilitating and implementing builder plans, ensuring efficient project completion, and maintaining strong relationships with customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Planning: Review builder plans and specifications to develop a comprehensive understanding of the project, and develop red-lines for the actual construction site to serve as a basis for the estimate.
  • Inventory Management: Enter, update, and maintain accurate inventory and change orders on builder plans.
  • Communication: Facilitate communication with field workers and superintendents, and ensure permits are pulled and up to date for each job location.
  • Customer Relations: Build and maintain relationships with customers, and provide excellent customer service.
Requirements
  • Education: College degree completion preferred within Construction or Project Management.
  • Skills: Strong and professional verbal and written communication skills, CAD experience, and strong computer competency in MS Office, Excel, Adobe, and Google sheets.
  • Personal Qualities: Ability to learn new software, navigate conflict, and make common sense decisions.
