Job Description

As a Project Construction Manager, you will assume a crucial leadership role, applying a wealth of diversified knowledge in construction management principles and practices to a broad spectrum of assignments. Operating at an advanced level, you will independently make decisions on complex construction management issues, overseeing detailed tasks such as reviewing design specifications, coordinating construction activities, and ensuring project progress aligns with objectives. Your responsibilities will extend to preparing comprehensive project documents, adhering to project scope, schedule, and budget, and driving projects to successful completion through adept planning and coordination.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and analyze design specifications to ensure compliance with project requirements
  • Coordinate construction activities to ensure timely completion and within budget
  • Prepare and maintain comprehensive project documents, including project plans, schedules, and budgets
  • Collaborate with project managers and team members to ensure project goals and objectives are met
  • Develop and implement new and improved construction techniques and procedures

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or other applicable field
  • Minimum of six (6) years of experience in construction observation or construction inspection on projects including roadway development, utility infrastructure, sewer lines, or water distribution
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner
  • Valid drivers license with clean driving history
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule
  • OSHA 10 certified, preferred but not required
  • Any applicable Department of Transportation (DOT) certifications, preferred but not required
