Job Summary

Rimkus Consulting is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team as a Forensic Consulting Services professional. As an Electrical Engineer at Rimkus, you will be responsible for providing expert forensic consulting services to clients, including investigation and analysis of electrical system defects and equipment failures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough investigations and analyses of electrical system defects and equipment failures to determine the cause and origin of the issue.
  • Prepare detailed reports of findings, including written and oral testimony, to present to clients and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with other experts and stakeholders to develop and implement solutions to electrical system defects and equipment failures.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines to ensure timely completion of projects.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, including safe work practices and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering required.
  • Professional Engineer (P.E.) license required.
  • 2-10+ years of experience in electrical engineering, with a focus on forensic consulting services.
  • Field experience highly preferred.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable form of transportation required.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • Experience with computer-assisted engineering and design software.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
