Job Title: Registered Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Asbury Gardens Memory Care. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the overall well-being of our residents.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and Implement Care Plans: Collaborate with allied health team members to create individualized patient care plans that address the unique needs of each resident.
  • Provide Direct Patient Care: Administer prescribed medications, treatments, and perform various nursing procedures as needed.
  • Lead and Mentor Team Members: Supervise and guide nursing staff to ensure high-quality patient care and adherence to facility policies and procedures.
  • Stay Current with Industry Trends: Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest nursing practices and technologies.
  • Communicate Effectively: Maintain open and transparent communication with residents, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Ensure Resident Safety: Identify and mitigate potential safety risks, and take necessary actions to prevent harm or injury to residents.
  • Document Patient Information: Accurately and thoroughly document patient care, responses, and other relevant information in accordance with facility policies and procedures.
  • Participate in Quality Improvement: Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and participate in ongoing evaluation and improvement of patient care services.
Qualifications:
  • Nursing Education: Graduation from an accredited nursing education program.
  • Licensure and Certification: Illinois registration as a professional nurse and current certification in relevant areas of nursing practice.
  • Background and Skills: Ability to communicate effectively, work well with patients and staff, and maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 24 pounds frequently and up to 75 pounds occasionally, with or without reasonable accommodation.
