Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Ascension. As a Registered Nurse, you will provide direct patient care and work collaboratively with our healthcare team to deliver high-quality patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct nursing care to patients in accordance with established policies and procedures.
  • Implement and monitor patient care plans, ensuring effective communication with the healthcare team.
  • Assess and coordinate patient discharge planning needs, working closely with other disciplines to ensure seamless care transitions.
  • Note and carry out physician and nursing orders, prioritizing patient safety and well-being.
Requirements
  • BLS Provider certification required within 1 month of hire date.
  • Registered Nurse licensure from the Illinois Board of Nursing required prior to hire date.
  • Advanced Life Support certification preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 1 year of experience in Emergency Department or acute nursing preferred.
