- Recognize and Respond to Changes in Resident Condition: Identify and address significant changes in resident health status, taking necessary action to ensure their safety and well-being.
- Document Resident Care and Response: Accurately document all aspects of resident care, including responses to treatments and interventions.
- Function as a Charge Nurse: Serve as a resource person to staff, answer questions, and make decisions relevant to resident care.
- Adhere to Facility Safety Policies: Ensure a safe and healthy environment for residents, staff, and visitors by adhering to facility safety policies and procedures.
- Nursing Education and Licensure: Graduation from an accredited nursing education program and Illinois registration as a professional nurse.
- Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with patients, staff, and families, and work well in a team environment.
- Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 24 lbs. frequently and up to 75 lbs. occasionally.
