Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Sales and Service Associate to join our team at DAIKIN COMFORT TECHNOLOGIES DIST INC. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with our customers, providing exceptional customer service, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sales and Customer Service
    • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our HVAC products and services to effectively communicate their value to customers.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to identify their needs and provide tailored solutions.
    • Provide exceptional customer service through proactive communication, timely issue resolution, and a customer-centric approach.
  • Sales and Business Development
    • Identify and pursue new sales opportunities to drive business growth and revenue.
    • Develop and execute sales strategies to meet or exceed sales targets.
    • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless sales processes and effective communication.
  • Administrative and Operational Tasks
    • Manage and maintain accurate records of customer interactions, sales activities, and performance metrics.
    • Perform administrative tasks such as data entry, reporting, and other duties as assigned.
    • Assist in the maintenance of a clean and organized workspace, adhering to company standards and policies.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • High School diploma or equivalent required; some college preferred.
    • 1-3 years of progressive sales experience, with a focus on customer service and relationship-building.
  • Skills and Abilities
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.
    • Strong sales and business development skills, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of attention to detail and accuracy.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with a working knowledge of database applications.
  • Physical and Working Environment
    • Ability to perform essential responsibilities with or without reasonable accommodations.
    • May travel occasionally to customer sites, training events, and company-related meetings (estimated 20%).
