Key Responsibilities:
- Create an engaging, positive, and enjoyable environment for our diverse clientele.
- Welcome guests and identify their interests to provide tailored sales recommendations.
- Utilize POS systems with high accuracy.
- Take ownership of cleaning, restocking, and completing tasks assigned by supervisors.
- Showcase merchandise effectively to boost sales, including add-on items.
- Clearly articulate merchandise features, benefits, and usage.
- Stay informed about in-store promotions and events.
- Manage inventory, merchandise placement, and maintain accurate counts.
- Continuously enhance knowledge of products, facilities, and events.
- Assist with the setup of event gift shops, including merchandising and inventory control.
- Possess merchandising skills as an added advantage.
Qualifications:
- Demonstrate honesty and integrity in all actions.
- Ability to accept constructive feedback and implement necessary changes.
- Exhibit excellent customer service and sales skills.
- Willingness to work extended hours during events.
- Availability to work weekends and overtime as required.
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience in a similar role.
- Accuracy in opening and closing procedures.
- Capability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Be an innovative self-starter, able to work independently and collaboratively.
- Flexibility in duties and responsibilities as needed.
Practice safe work habits, adhere to all safety policies and procedures, and complete any required safety training.
