Senior Technical Support Engineer

Komatsu is seeking a highly skilled Technical Support Engineer to join our team. As a Technical Support Engineer, you will be responsible for providing advanced technical support and expertise to customers in the North American market. You will work closely with regional service teams, distributors, and customers to resolve technical issues and ensure the performance and availability of Komatsu hydraulic shovels.
Key Responsibilities- Provide in-depth technical support and expertise to customers in the North American market.
- Work closely with regional service teams, distributors, and customers to resolve technical issues.
- Conduct failure analyses of failed components and establish root cause of problems.
- Travel to various sites to provide on-site support and training.
- Manage the Juhin processes related to the knowledge discipline assigned.
- B.S. Degree in a technical discipline (Engineering) and 8+ years of knowledge and experience with hydraulic mining shovels.
- Advanced degrees and advanced area-specific training a distinct plus.
- Experience in field commission of products very much desired.
- Strong communications skills and ability to interact effectively with field personnel, distributors, customers, and senior management.
