Job Overview:

The Night Auditor plays a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of the hotel's financial operations during the night shift. This position involves a variety of responsibilities that contribute to the smooth functioning of the hotel.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct audits, balance, and reconcile financial reports related to all food and beverage outlets.
  • Investigate and resolve any outstanding issues from the day shifts.
  • Maintain a daily balance of house accounts and communicate findings to the accounting department.
  • Prepare and audit reports concerning front desk operations.
  • Compile statistics and income journal sheets for daily financial reporting.
  • Ensure accuracy in room revenue, food and beverage revenue, cashier reports, and guest accounts.
  • Process credit card transactions, execute night audits, and finalize daily management reports.
  • Act as the liaison for hotel systems during overnight hours.
  • Perform Guest Service Representative duties as necessary.
  • Assist with room reservations and manage incoming hotel phone calls.
  • Complete additional tasks as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with the PMS System OnQ is required.
