Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintenance and Operations: Assist in maintaining the day-to-day operations of our facilities, including delegating or completing maintenance orders, supervising the work of other associates and contractors, and performing general management duties.
  • Leadership and Training: Help supervise, train, and coach technicians, complete performance reviews, and provide feedback to ensure the highest level of performance.
  • Cleanliness and Upkeep: Participate in the cleanliness and upkeep of our facilities to ensure a safe and enjoyable environment for our guests and employees.
  • Vendor Management: Supervise services provided by third-party vendors, such as landscaping, pool maintenance, HVAC/R, and other maintenance duties as assigned projects arise.
  • Service Contracts: Participate in the process to identify the need for service contracts and ensure timely execution.
  • Electrical and Mechanical Systems: Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electronic equipment, including HVAC/R, arcade games, addressable lighting systems, computer networks, kitchen equipment, entertainment equipment, pool and water features, and plumbing accessories.
  • Building Repairs: Coordinate building repairs with the Facility Director and ensure timely completion.
  • Office Health and Safety: Assist in creating office health and safety plans and ensure compliance.
  • Security and Maintenance: Help manage security and maintenance projects, ensuring the highest level of safety and security.
  • Administrative Support: Provide administrative support for personnel issues, including providing accurate historical data and clean, concise documentation.
  • Purchase Orders: Initiate purchase orders for facilities maintenance supplies, machinery, equipment, parts, and services.
  • Daily Operations: Assist employees with completion of daily work, as required to meet business needs and service levels.
  • Problem-Solving: Diagnose problems using blueprints, technical manuals, service manuals, parts catalogs, and internet resources.
  • Functional and Safety Checks: Perform daily functional and safety checks on all areas of the facilities.
  • Preventive Maintenance: Perform preventive maintenance, repairs, and replacements of facility equipment, including kitchen equipment, pool equipment, water features, theatrical lighting and sound, POS systems, office equipment, and related components.
  • Facility Structures: Maintain and repair facility structures, such as concrete and drywall repair, plumbing, electrical, painting, door hardware, and fire and life safety systems.
  • Electrical Systems: Inspect, repair, install, service, and maintain various electrical systems, including lighting and power circuits, control equipment, fixtures, lamps, ballasts, switches, and equipment.
  • Organizational Development: Support the development, implementation, maintenance, and ongoing improvement of Casa Bonita Denver.
  • Availability: Work a variety of hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, with 24-hour on-call status in case of emergency.
Requirements and Qualifications:
  • Experience: 5+ years of relevant commercial, high-volume property maintenance experience.
  • Leadership Experience: 2+ years of leadership experience.
  • Education: Minimum of High School Diploma.
  • Driver's License: Must have a valid Driver's License and means of transportation.
  • Availability: Must be able to work weekends, evenings, and be available for on-call emergencies.
  • Culture Fit: Ability to embody the Casa Bonita Denver leadership culture.
  • Cross-Training: Expected to have the ability to perform all the duties of the Lead Technician, Technicians, Custodians, and Warehouse Staff in order to be cross-trained and onboard new staff.
  • Certifications: OSHA 10 and/or OSHA 30 Certification. OSHA Electrical Awareness Certification preferred.
Physical Requirements:
  • Physical Demands: Able to stand for long periods of time and walk often at a brisk pace.
  • Walking and Climbing: Able to walk up inclines and stairs and down declines and stairs multiple times during a shift.
  • Lifting and Carrying: Capable of sitting, stooping, bending, reaching, and lifting/carrying items up to 50 pounds.
  • Environmental Conditions: Able to work and perform job tasks in wet or humid conditions (non-weather).
  • Fine Motor Skills: Possesses fine motor skills and dexterity.
  • Temperature Tolerance: Able to withstand temperatures typical within a commercial kitchen setting.
  • Noise Level: Able to withstand noise levels typical of a high-volume kitchen, work near moving mechanical parts.
  • Lighting Conditions: Able to perform job duties efficiently in lighting conditions typical of a commercial restaurant and commercial kitchen.
  • Extreme Conditions: Able to work in extreme cold, hot (non-weather) related.
  • Pressure and Pace: Able to work calmly under pressure and at a fast pace, typical of a high-volume restaurant.
  • Public Interaction: Capable of and at ease with engaging with the public, potentially encountering challenging behavior, infectious diseases, and service animals.
  • Climbing and Walking: Will require climbing to high locations, on rocky/sharp surfaces.
  • Step Count: Must be able to walk a minimum of 10,000 steps during any given shift.
